David W. Fite, age 67 of Murfreesboro and Columbia, SC, died Sunday at his residence in Columbia.

Born March 18, 1952 in Brush Creek, he was the son of the late Kenneth Fuson Fite and Anne Garrison Fite.

David was a Terminal Manager for Greyhound Bus Lines for 19 years and spent the last two years with Southeastern Stages out of Atlanta, GA.

David is survived by his wife, Dona K. Fite; son, Jason Fite of Daytona Beach, FL; stepchildren, Damien (Kim) Rednour of Lascassas, TN and Jacqueline Rednour of Albany, KY; five grandchildren, Hailey Hutton of Monticello, KY, Jaylen Hare of Russell Springs, KY, Lester Dailey of Albany, KY, Adelynn and Brantley Rednour of Lascassas, TN; uncle and aunt, Richie and Ruth Garrison of Lebanon, TN; aunt, Jean Fite of Hermitage, TN; and seven cousins and many friends.

Funeral services 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2019 at Hunter Funeral Home with Dr. Chuck Everett of Lugoff, SC and Rev. Terry Wilkerson of Murfreesboro, TN officiating. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Thursday and prior to services Friday. Interment will follow at the Brush Creek Cemetery.
