The defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots are in Nashville for two days of joint practices with the Titans prior to Saturday's preseason matchup between the teams at Nissan Stadium.
Titans coach Mike Vrabel, a former New England linebacker, said the joint practices will be good work for his squad. He said it will be a challenge to learn the Patriots' personnel and tendencies in a short amount of time to be able to compete
Vrabel said the Titans won't game plan, but that the different look will be good.
"We're not gonna came plan for them, but we're gonna be able to see different looks and adjust to different coverages," Vrabel said. "Our guys have been building profiles against the guys they've been going against all camp, whether it's a pass rusher against an offensive lineman, or a DB against a receiver, I've kind of asked them to build a profile. We're not game-planning anybody else, so let's game plan ourselves. Let's build a profile and a play style on the guys that you're going against. So we'll have to do that very quickly when the Patriots come in with their personnel."
