After being forced to postpone the match due to inclement weather, the White House Lady Blue Devils dominated the White House Heritage Patriots 8-2 Friday night on the soccer field.

The matchup was a tough, defensive affair in the first half as the seemingly evenly matched teams struggled to figure out their respective defenses.

After the first half, White House held a slim 2-1 lead over the Patriots.

With the second half starting in similar fashion, both teams found the back of the net, giving White House a 3-2 lead midway through the second half.

The final 20 minutes of the game were like something out of the twilight zone as the Heritage defense fell apart due to a strong White House attack giving up a goal to White House making the score 4-2 and then giving up four more goals to the Lady Devils for the final 8-2 score line.

Kalya Norman, Anna Williams, and Alyssa Armstrong all had two goals for the Lady Devils followed by Kate Carney and Aubree Miller with one goal.

Heritage looks to rebound from the disappointing loss participating in the yearly Robertson County Cup, held at East Robertson Elementary. White House hosts Cheatham County before a full week off from action leading into the Ladies Tounament Championship held at University School of Nashville.
